How can you not like Lenore, with her penchant for all things darkly humorously and affiliation with the grotesque and undead? Lenore's got undead creed, but still floats though the land of living, often carrying out everyday childhood activities and responsibilities sometimes with predictably icky results.
This macabre little collection of Lenore exploits is the perfect antidote to an overdose of happily ever after sickly sweet heroines. You get a greater indicator of what is about to unfold when the book begins with a quote from the master of the dark himself, Edgar Allan Poe.
