Jazz lives in a small town called Lobo’s Nod, a place famous for
being home of Billy Dent, one of America’s worst ever serial killers –
who also just happens to be Jazz’s dear old dad. For four years Jazz has
been on the outside looking in, kept at a distance by most of the town
as they wait for him to follow in his dad’s steps to become a serial
killer himself. Jazz has it in him, his dad raised him to understand
serial killers from a young age, taught him to blend in and appear
normal, how to set people at ease when they should be running screaming,
and just enough forensics to stop him from getting caught. However,
Jazz is not his father, and when a body appears Jazz tries to help the
local law enforcement catch the killer, but how long will it be before
suspicion falls on Jazz?
A tense and thoroughly engrossing read that will keep you guessing and
wondering, with a strong cast of characters (and suspects) and a plot to
die for.
