BookCh@t at Central

If you’re interested in finding out about the newest and hottest teen fiction that’s due to be released, and hitting the shelves at the library, make sure you head along to one of the teen book club meetings Auckland City Libraries (ACL) holds at a local library near you.

You’re in luck – Book Ch@t, the monthly book club at the Central library, is on today, Thursday 6 May at 4pm in the teen’s area on the ground floor of the library. Book Ch@t meets on the first Thursday of every month at 4pm.

So come hang-out with some like-minded peeps your own age and a slightly hipper and not-so-old librarian, gossip about Eclipse and the ongoing debate about who’s hotter, RPats or Taylor Lautner, or talk about the latest David Levithan book Will Grayson, Will Grayson (by the way, make sure you’ve got yourself in the queue for this book, it’s pretty popular right now, with the author visiting for AWRF next week and all!). It’s pretty casj, just come have a chat about book-related things. Maybe you’ll even make some cool new mates.

The teen book clubs at ACL are:

Blockhouse Bay Community Library Last Thursday of the month, at 4pm.

Central City Library – Book Ch@t First Thursday of the month, at 4pm.

Onehunga Community Library – Read It Fortnightly, Wednesdays at 4pm, during school term.

Mt Roskill Community Library – Carpe Libri Fortnightly, Fridays, at 4pm
